Our Packages:
We offer two packages that should cater for most of client needs and also a bespoke package that we can tailor to your exact requirements. We can edit the bespoke package services month to month for you. Importantly, you are not tied into any contract with us, you simply pay for the month in advance and after each month we will discuss our progress with you so you can make the decision to continue, pause or increase the services we offer you.
Package 1:
Priced at £500 pm: Our aim is to find you a quality importer and / or hospitality outlet to stock your wines. Your wines will be at our London tasting room, ready for potential client meetings / for one-on-one tastings.
Is there a limit to the time you can spend on our winery? We usually find that each winery we will offer varying times to dependent on the package they have taken with us and the task set. - There is no minimum or maximum time limit.
Is it a virtual or real office you have in London? We have a real office within a central London wine bar and restaurant. We can sit down and have a relaxing meeting, present our client portfolios and carry out professional tastings with all our client wines presented at correct temperatures and served in relevant glassware.
If I phone you, will I speak to someone who manages my account and is highly knowledgeable of the UK wine scene? Yes you will always speak to either or both Christopher or Oliver, senior partners and founders of Clerissa. We have a team working with us and only for administrational concerns you might speak with another team member.
I'm in a different time zone, how does it work for calling you during my working day? We do have clients in vastly different time zones and we always offer early morning or later evening slots upon booking prior with us. We do find that on most occasions email correspondence manages to complete on any questions / issues.
I have someone who wants to taste our wines in the UK, can I ask you to visit them or do they have to come to your office in London? When working with Package 1 we offer you the chance to have tastings at our office only and if we are required to visit externally there will be an additional fee and most likely only one of Christopher or Oliver can attend. Once again, we have a great tasting area in London and most potential buyers come away with a positive tasting experience.
Do we need to send you sample wines? When we commence working with any client we request that you send us as minimum, samples of the wines which you wish us to represent for you. This helps us to understand quality / price point / market positioning (generally who our competition will be). Depending on the package you take with us, we can store further samples at our office for you which will be for separate tastings / masterclasses / posting to wine buyers and critics etc.
Package 2:
Priced at £2,500 pm: Consultancy from our team on the best approach to the UK market. Proposing and actioning a strategy and connecting you with relevant buyers / distributors so to establish your brand in the UK.
When you create us leads / contacts / hospitality venues / wine importers - do they belong to us or you? They belong to you and all sales are exclusively yours as the supplying winery. We can also act as your importer / distributor depending on the level of package you have taken with us. We are in the business of results for our clients and not clients for our results.
Do you offer to visit our winery so you can understand our terroir / production methods better? Yes, we have visited many of our client's wineries depending on the package they have taken with us - we agree that it is important that we are fully understanding and immersed in how our clients work so we can present this to those who we meet during the time we are representing you in the UK. We normally combine an individual visit with our bespoke packages. On packages 1 and 2 we, unless we have already a tour booked in your region planned by ourselves, will request travel and accommodation expenses.
What are these events that you organise and who pays for them? We will recommend events for you to consider and the additional costings for these will be with you, though our time / organising of guests will be complimentary as part of package 2. The only charges you need to cover are for the venue hire and additionally catering / hospitality costs. We also organise complimentary tastings and dinners in London that showcase a selection of our clients wines and we will invite you to participate in these at no additional costs.
Can you manage logistics / customs and importing / storage in bond or external professional storage? Yes, one of our associated partners offers this complete service under Clerissa so we can both guide you through the process and manage each part for you once you have agreed on the costs associated.
Package 3:
A bespoke package tailored to your requirements.
Are the bespoke packages much more expensive? They can be set at any price.. You can choose either package 1 or 2 and ask us to bespoke these for your needs or we can discuss a whole new dedicated package to suit your expectations of which we will agree a set monthly price with you before proceeding. The cost of these packages will depend on the services you require.
Have you been working in the wine industry long? Yes, we have a combined 40 year experience in the wine sector to include sales / events / marketing. We are an award winning team with vast experience of wine and a firm understanding of the needs of wineries who are looking to enter the London / UK market and increase sales.
